Deceptive? Dangerous? The filmmaker's behind 12th & Delaware would have you think that pregnancy help centers are both. NARAL/Pro-choice America has even endorsed the film. We think you should decide for yourself!
The award winning co-directors of "Jesus Camp" were approached by HBO Films to make another "fly-on-the-wall" film about what they view as another curiosity; dedicated Christian men and women, caring deeply and sacrificing everything, to be "cross-bearing" for the "child-bearing."
Despite the filmmaker's promise of objectivity, these two woman produced a film that left a lot of tape on the cutting room floor, and a lot of deception in their wake. What remained is a film with significant bias against the compassionate work of pregnancy help centers.
But don't believe us. We have put together a number of resources (below) to help you make your own decision. We encourage you to see the movie, start the discussions, and read behind-the-scenes information 12th & Delaware left out, as well as the back story about scenes left in. In addition, you'll want to watch the extensive YouTube responses from Pregnancy Care Center, Ft. Pierce, FL., the center featured in the film.
