Executive Roundtable - April 15-17

The Executive Roundtable is a gathering of Executive Directors/CEOs of large centers (those operating with a $300,000 or more budget). This training will include presentations by Executive Directors and informal roundtable discussions. This year's Executive Roundtable will be held concurrently with the Annual Conference beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday night, April 15th, with a Welcome Reception. Sessions will run on Wednesday and Thursday, ending with lunch on the 17th.

International Dinner - Wednesday, April 16

Join our international guests for dinner. Co-sponsored by Hope for the Heart and special keynote from June Hunt. All proceeds will benefit Heartbeat’s International efforts.

Minority Leadership Summit - Wednesday, April 16

A forum of Black and Latino pregnancy center leaders (current and emerging) to plan for greater leadership development and strategic planning opportunities for the possible key to victory over the business of abortion in America. The Summit will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, with registration opening at 8:00 a.m. The Summit will include the special International Dinner. Registration for the Minority Leadership Summit is $85 and includes meals.

With increasing focus and attention from the media and politicians on the pro-life movement, this is an essential training for all pregnancy center leaders to take learn not to fear, but welcome these opportunities.

Care Net Client Marketing Solutions™ (CMS) is an innovative training program designed to help pregnancy centers develop and implement a solid, results-oriented marketing strategy in their community.

Volunteer Training: The LOVE Approach – Sheila Boyle
This training offers the basics in peer counseling, with emphasis on relationship building and listening skills. Topics include: Listen & Learn, Open Options, Vision & Value, Extend & Empower.

Surrendering the Secret – Pat Layton
Long-time Heartbeat affiliate, Pat Layton, introduces Surrendering the Secret, a new interactive post-abortion Bible Study published by LifeWay Christian Resources. Pat covers the six common healing steps and time-tested how-to's for managing and maximizing this ministry.

Sexual Integrity Program Implementation – Katy Flood
A powerful training that will give you the biblical foundation for sexual integrity, introduce The Sexual Integrity Program to your center, and teach you how to implement the program with all of your clients.

Workshop Tracks

Leadership: “Leadership is influence”, says John Maxwell. All directors, board members, staff and volunteer leaders are invited to delve into some specifics from this broad and important topic.

Development: Fundraising and friend-raising are critical for ministry and mission. With something for novices and seasoned veterans this track is open to anyone working in or with development efforts.

Spiritual Refreshment: If the hustle and bustle of ministry has you running on empty or simply looking for ways to strengthen your serve or those who serve with you, these workshops are for you.

Medical: Featuring medical professionals, this track will cover a wide range of relevant topics and is specifically for the medical and health care professionals serving pregnancy centers.

Innovations: This here track includes new, interesting ideas for pregnancy centers to look beyond conventional models and methods.

Client Impact Series: We all want the best for our clients. Our Client Impact Series track is for those leading and/or working in direct client services.

Sexual Integrity: Learn to implement effective techniques and tools to help clients embrace the greater plan and vision for their sexuality. This track is for centers that have or plan to have the Sexual Integrity Program.

Housing: Hear from experience leaders in the field. From starting a Maternity Home, to Long-Term Housing Care, this track is especially for affiliates offering housing services.

General: Just like the General Store in the Old West, this has got something for everyone.

Abortion Recovery: Heartbeat International has partnered with ARIN to bring you a spectrum of seasoned servants to integrate, expand and enhance your healing services.
