Heartbeat Ambassadors are volunteers who represent and promote Heartbeat International through various ministry opportunities (i.e. conference, missions, and other ministry related activities) for a two-year term. The Heartbeat International Ambassador Program provides an opportunity for Heartbeat to develop closer, more supportive relationships with dedicated center leaders and for leaders to expand and grow in their pro-life ministry.
Heartbeat Ambassadors will have potential and preferential opportunities to:

Participate in domestic and international Heartbeat ministry

Assist at our annual conference and other training events

Teach and assist other center leaders and staff
-
Receive special rates to Heartbeat events

And much more!
Program Goals:
-
Provide enrichment opportunities for Ambassador volunteers and other center leaders to exercise their gifts, extend areas of service, and broaden expertise
-
Expand network of supporters/support for Heartbeat International’s pro-life mission and vision and Christian core values
-
Provide opportunities for Heartbeat International Ambassador volunteers interested in supporting and promoting Heartbeat International to participate and serve in Heartbeat International training events, such as conferences, workshops, and consultations

Provide an opportunity for Ambassador volunteers to join Heartbeat staff in short term ministry trips and events, both domestic and abroad

Increase networking opportunities for Ambassadors and Heartbeat staff
Membership Benefits:
Heartbeat International Ambassadors will have potential and preferential opportunities to expand and enrich their leadership skills and participate in national and international pro-life ministry events and activities during their two-year term.

Participate in domestic and international ministry

Assist at annual conference and other training events (i.e., presenter, work with internationals, network with and assist other pro-life organization leaders and speakers)

Teach and assist other center leaders and staff

Attend March for Life with Heartbeat staff

Participate in an exchange program

Accompany Heartbeat staff on regional/networking trips

Legislative activities
-
Special rates to Heartbeat events
Membership Expectations:
-
Be able to attend a Heartbeat Annual Conference at least once during the two year term
-
Participate in at least one Ambassador opportunity in addition to the Heartbeat Annual Conference

Be financially responsible for trips to a Heartbeat event
Membership Qualifications:
-
Works or volunteers at a Heartbeat center or connected in some other way
-
Current or prior experience in one or more of the following positions: Executive Director, Board Member, Client Services Director, Development Director, and Medical Staff
