Holding Each Life Precious

Planned Parenthood and Eugenics

What you don't know about the abortion industry...

Can you even imagine? Elaine Riddick was a 13-year-old African-American girl when she was raped by a neighbor in her hometown of Winfall, North Carolina. As a result of the rape, Elaine became pregnant. But what happened next is almost unthinkable. Without her consent or knowledge doctors sterilized Elaine immediately after she gave birth to her child at the recommendation of the North Carolina Eugenics Board.

Elaine recalls, "Got to the hospital and they put me in a room and that's all I remember, that's all I remember. When I woke up, I woke up with bandages on my stomach," according to MSNBC.

According to records Ms. Riddick was labeled as "feebleminded" and "promiscuous."

The North Carolina Eugenics Board authorized sterilization for more than 2,000 girls and boys ages 18 and under between 1933 and 1974; some of them were just 10 years old.

Eugenics is defined as the belief in the possibility of improving the qualities of the human population, emphasizing such means as discouraging reproduction by persons having genetic defects or presumed to have inheritable undesirable traits, know as negative eugenics.

But surely eugenics does not exist in today's society….think again!Margaret Sanger

In the midst of the recent media uproar regarding the sterilization of innocent people many decades ago, there is one thing journalists are gravely overlooking: Margaret Sanger.

Margaret Sanger was one of the wealthy progressives that formed the American Eugenics Society (AES). This group was dedicated to pushing for the sterilization of those considered "unfit" or "dysgenic." They championed forced sterilizations and targeted birth control efforts such as The Negro Project. Margaret Sanger was a dues paying member of AES until her death.

However, what Margaret Sanger is most remembered for is being the founder of Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the U.S. today. What most of society refuses to acknowledge is that eugenics still drives the abortion industry today.

Abortion On Demand WebinarPlanned Parenthood was birthed and operates in the same vein as the American Eugenics Society. Soon the truth will be revealed. Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.), chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, has launched an in depth investigation of the operations of Planned Parenthood, that receives over $360 million per year in tax payer dollars.
