This week we are celebrating St. Valentine's Day. A day totally dedicated to celebrating LOVE!

Unfortunately, in our society TV, movies, and music often portray a warped view of how love, romance, and sexuality were created to be.

And now, organizations like Planned Parenthood, are targeting students, young adults, and even children with campaigns that they believe will "liberate" their sexuality. Planned Parenthood has even gone so far as to proclaim this week "National Condom Week." This Valentine's Day campaign encourages people to be sexually active and practice what they call "safe" sex.

But we know that there is no such thing as safe sex outside of marriage and no condom exists that can protect the emotions or the heart of a young person. Instead of being liberated, the results of these campaigns are young people who are emotionally wounded, sexually broken, and highly vulnerable to contracting sexually transmitted diseases.

At Heartbeat International we have The Sexual Integrity Program. Through your support, pregnancy help centers promote the dignity and worth of every woman, helping her learn how to respect her own body, helping her to know the ingredients for a healthy relationship, helping her to become sexually whole, and to better understand the value of human life.

Through the Sexual Integrity Program, Heartbeat affiliated centers are committed to empowering women by sharing the truth about who they are and who God created them to be. They also share the freedom and peace that comes from living a life of Sexual Integrity.
