Our Freedom of Religion is at Stake.

Heartbeat, along with other Christian nonprofits, Christian businesses, Catholic Hospitals, religious colleges and universities, and others, are not satisfied with the recent "accommodation," made by this Administration, regarding our freedom of religion.

President Obama recently announced that religious organizations and institutions will still be required to provide health insurance policies that include free contraceptives, abortion-inducing drugs, and sterilizations. The change is that now our insurance companies must absorb the costs of this coverage (and announce it to our employees). Of course, these costs will be passed on to someone – guess who?

This continues to be a blatant and dangerous infringement on our freedom of religion and conscience.

This is yet another round in the continuing attack on the dignity of women, spearheaded by Planned Parenthood for almost a century. If religious groups will not accept the "sex object" view of women willingly, the government will impose it on us. The health insurance mandatory coverage is based on the lie that pregnancy is a "disease" and that good health care for women must include attacking her God-given gift of fertility!
