Option Line at Work
Option Line works to help women in a variety of ways every
day!
Each of these callers was connected with a local pregnancy
resource center for further assistance and information:
- A
teenager called Option Line to find out where she could go
to get a free pregnancy test.
- A pregnant woman needed factual abortion
information to make an informed decision about whether or
not to end her pregnancy.
- A caller wanted some pregnancy options to share with his
pregnant friend.
- A woman called because she wanted to talk about her experience
and regret from a past abortion.
- A pregnant caller wanted to learn how to make an adoption
plan.
- A pregnant girl called Option Line. She was scared and confused
and didn’t know what to do.
- A woman called to find out if condoms prevent the transmission
of STDs.
- A teenager called to find out how to tell her mom she was
pregnant.
- A young mother who just found out she was pregnant again
called for information about parenting and support.
- A mom called to find out how she could find a medical referral
for her pregnant teenager. She wanted a doctor who wouldn’t
encourage her daughter to terminate the pregnancy.
- A young pregnant girl called to ask if her unborn child
would feel any pain during the abortion procedure.
