Your Medical Director is ready, but what is the next step? This training will provide you with an overview of where to start, what to aim for, and how to know when you have achieved excellence!

Participants who receive at least 75% on the post-test and complete the evaluation form will earn 1.75 contact hours.

Purpose: To provide nurses with knowledge of how to implement STI services in their pregnancy help clinics.

Objectives: 

1. Identify and define the STI/Abortion health risks 

2. Identify and define steps necessary for integration of STI testing with existing services. 

3. Identify the multi-faceted approach in reaching the client in sexual health crisis.

This activity has been approved by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91) for 1.75 contact hours. The Ohio Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
