This is actually the reverse of an eclipse of the sun in which the light is blackened out. In our case, the pregnancy help movement brings light to dispel the darkness! Peggy will share real examples of what Heartbeat affiliates are doing (large and small, medical and non-medical, urban and rural, national and international) to bring light to their communities so that not only does abortion become unwanted (because women have the help and hope they need to choose life) but so does Planned Parenthood!

Somehow we need to tie up our day-to-day work; so that we can take the time to lay a firm foundation for what God has next for our ministry. Strategic Planning is a crucial, yet often overlooked tool for our organizations. It is essential for ministry leaders to understand its purposes and usefulness, as well as to be equipped to implement Strategic Planning on a regular basis. We have the opportunity to impart a vision of female fertility that is based on science and Scripture and is imminently relevant to our clients’ lives. They are unlikely to hear this message anywhere else! Authentic fertility education empowers women to know, honor and protect their own unique, God-designed cycle of fertility, which is their potential for motherhood. This session will: 1) equip attendees with a foundational knowledge of the cycle of fertility and the signs and symptoms of fertility that any woman can learn to recognize; 2) examine the lies and distortions in the culture regarding female fertility and the connection to high-risk sexual behavior; 3) reveal the link between fertility education, evangelism and the promotion of life-affirming decisions; and 4) introduce practical strategies for integrating the Focus on Fertility program into a CPC ministry.

Rediscovering purity - Jennifer Disney
Many women in our society, both young and old, have made choices that they regret. Some of the choices like having sex before marriage or doing drugs have put them into difficult situations. These situations may have led to pregnancy, having an abortion, contracting a venereal disease and the list goes on. From my own experiences, I know that with each wrong decision it can bring shame into our hearts. This leads to feelings of being dirty or unworthy of God’s love and forgiveness. But God is forgiving and He wants these women to know that no matter what they have done, God can come into their lives and forgive them for ALL of their sins. He no longer sees us as “dirty.” He sees us as pure. God wants us to see ourselves the way He sees us. Objectives - Participants will know that we are all sinners. - Participants will understand that God forgives us of all our sins. - Through interactive activities, participants will learn that they need to see themselves the way God sees them.

However, much of the time they are ineffectively indoctrinated with the tools to and behaviors to achieve their dreams, subsequently something the media educates them on instead. Many people will benefit this workshop from all ages because it defines not only the pitfalls of pop culture and how to avoid them, but it effectively equips the individual with the healthy mindset of focus. The the end of the course, attendees will be able to 1. understand healthy habits of the mind, 2. know their self worth and that they are worth waiting for, 3. they can be products of their environment or products of their dreams.
