Medical Specialist

Medical Specialist (part time; 20 hours per week) needed to facilitate relationships with current and potential Heartbeat affiliated organizations.

The position will assist in promoting communication with affiliates and related pro-life centers and organizations, providing educational information, resources, and services to support centers in the area of medical services, as well as assisting in the development, planning, and orchestration of Ministry Services’ programming, events, and materials related to administration of medical services. Experience in the pro-life movement, including experience with pregnancy centers required. Experience with medical conversion and medical practice in a pregnancy center preferred. R.N nursing degree also preferred though will consider other medical training and credentialing (such as RDMS) and/or combination of education and experience. Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Strong oral and written communication skills essential for interfacing with staff, affiliates and the general public. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word also valuable. Pathway to Hope Pregnancy Care Center - Hamilton, Ohio

Pathway has been serving to save lives in our Community since 1993. We serve over 1200 young women and men a year with help and hope when faced with an unplanned pregnancy. Last November, we took a huge step of faith and purchased a building for our new center home, less than 40 yards in front of the only abortion referrer and provider in Butler County, Planned Parenthood. Administrative Services Coordinator

Pathway to Hope is looking for a qualified individual to serve as an Administrative Services Coordinator.

The Administrative Services Coordinator(ASC) will plan, organize and oversee programs and services provided by the volunteers & advocates. The ASC will assure that volunteers & advocates are recruited, fully trained and supported and that all client services/programs are of the highest quality possible and consistent with the mission and vision of Pathway to Hope. The ASC will expect that clients are served with respect and according to the Commitment of Care and Competence. In addition, the ASC will also provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Financial Manager.

We are looking for a mature Christian couple to hire as full time house parents for Grace Home Maternity Residence. The house parents need to be called of God and to the mission of Grace Home. They need to be committed to serve and willing to work to create a Godly Christian home atmosphere and be firm but loving in relationships, realizing many women may come with problems associated with men, authority figures, and deep hurts.

Our home is located in Blanchard, OK on 5 beautiful acres. We are able to serve 6 women in their babies. The house parents would live full time in their own 2 bedroom apartment that is attached to the main residence with relief house parents on site in a separate apartment during the houseparent's time off. House parents work five 24 hour shifts and are off 48 hours each week.

House Parents:
*Must be committed mature Christians.
*Be over 30 years of age and have been married for a minimum of 3 years.
*Be people of demonstrated integrity, maturity, and sound judgment, capable of establishing and maintaining a sound administrative structure.
* Be capable of providing leadership and spiritual guidance to each of the young women according to her specific needs. Shall have a sympathetic understanding of each young woman and her unique situation.
* Maintain an environment that is joyful, relaxing, and peaceful within the structure of the schedule of the home. Maintain an attitude that promotes availability to the young women.
*Provide spiritual leadership to young women (i.e. devotion, spiritual direction, Bible studies). Try to be aware of each young woman's emotional needs; work to help them enter into the activities of the home and improve their self-image.
*Shall have the responsibility for the day-to-day activities of the home and care of the young women.
* Coordinate with Executive Director the upkeep of house, property and maintenance and repairs on vehicles and request repairs as needed. Be responsible for working with the Executive Director to ensure that all state regulations are met.
*Maintain a comfortable and clean house, with the assistance of the young women. Set up and maintain work schedules geared to running an efficient home.
* Enforce family guidelines and discipline in a loving manner. Work to combine discipline and reinforcement of positive behaviors.
* Assume responsibility for food budget and ensure proper food supply and management of funds. Plan and supervise preparation of well-balanced meals. Keep a log of meals served.
* Teach women good habits for personal hygiene and proper attire.
* Be willing to minister to boyfriends and/or birth fathers, as opportunities arise.
