In this session, Dr. Jeffrey Gage presents his research into understanding how men process and define fatherhood.
Using information he gathered by interviewing men at a local PRC, Dr. Gage discusses fathers’ expectations, cognitive and affective responses, and the meanings they associated with their relationships and the transition to fatherhood.
Findings will be discussed in the context of fatherengagement, service provision, and maternal and child health.
