This workshop will help pregnancy center staff understand why advocating for their ministries and their clients with representatives and legislators is vital, and to learn the basics of presenting their ministry to groups that may be hostile or friendly.
We all have biases in life, based on our own experiences, upbringing, and exposure to various manners of thinking. We shouldn’t be expected to be bias-free, but we CAN become more aware of how our biases can influence us as pro-life advocates and then learn to “leave them at the door” when they limit our effectiveness in reaching clients from various backgrounds and perspectives.
